Team Talk Tuesday: Sian D. Front of house

Every Tuesday we will be posting an interview with one of our team members. Last week we spoke to Llinos Jones our Assistant Manager, this week we speak to Sian D  who is part of our front of house team.

Q. When did you join the company?

A. I joined the company about 7 or 8 years ago, working a few nights a week, at that time I still had a full time job as a dental receptionist. I became full time about 4 years ago after having my son.

Q. Where were you working before joining the team at the Fleece?

A. As I say I was working as a dental receptionist however prior to that I worked at Portmerion as a receptionist other than that I have also worked in several pubs in Porthmadog and ad an accounting assistant.

Q.Whats a normal day for you at the Fleece?

A. Is there such a thing as a normal day at the Fleece?! It varies really, from serving breakfast, checking people in and out, serving in the bar and looking after customers in the restaurant. Sometimes I even do a bit of housekeeping.

Q. What is your favourite part of your job?

A. My favourite part of the jobs is meeting new people and being part of what is a fantastic team to work with.

Q. What has been the hardest part of your job?

A. Getting up for breakfast after being up all night with the kids!

Q. When your not at the Fleece what do you most enjoy doing?

A. Being at the fleece as a customer! I also enjoy spending time with my family and I have recently started a diploma in photography.
