Team Talk Tuesday: Ruth Williams

We have missed a couple of team Tuesday’s, as I (stuart) have been on holiday so apologies to our regular readers! How ever team Tuesday is back this week with Ruth Williams who work’s many department’s including management and front of house. She’s a great asset to our team and here is her interview:

Q. When did you join the company?

A. I joined the company back in may 2012, in fact its my 4th year anniversary today!

Q. Where were you working before joining the team at the Fleece?

A.I previously worked at a off-licence in Porthmadog

Q.Whats a normal day for you at the Fleece?

A.  Wow it completely varies for me depending which role I am working. It also depends whats happened during the shift before mine. So for example today is our financial year end, I have had to count up every penny on the premises and produce a report for accounts, I’ve also attended a pub watch meeting this morning before which I was serving breakfasts and checking our b&b guests.

Q. What is your favourite part of your job?

A. The variety, it is the spice of life! I also love my dysfunctional team mates!

Q.What has been the hardest part of your job?

A. Getting to grips of our new all singing and dancing property management software which automates most aspects of the business. It’s a huge Investment in the growth of the business but its taken some getting used to!

Q. When your not at the Fleece what do you most enjoy doing?

A. Spending time with my children it’s most rewarding thing in life.
