Gin Bar
Gin is currently one of the fastest growing trends in spirits. It’s popularity is has been in large part due to a appetite for a revival of classic British drinks. The surge in its popularity has seen a whole new host of artisan micro distilleries opening up for business. The rise in its popularity is illustrated further by the number of new micro distilleries opening each year, 49 in 2015 compared to just 5 between 2008-2011.
It’s claimed that while gin was traditionally drank by the over 40’s there is a new younger generation now switching vodka for the botanical spirit. Uk sales are expected to top £1bn this year alone.
