It would be rude not to!

The Australia

The minute you step into this pub you are hit by the welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The rustically styled décor makes your feel you may have just walked into an American Western saloon, but it retains a modern feel too. The Australia serve tap brew from our local brewery, The Purple Moose, and is a firm favourite with real ale fans. The Australia also serve food, but it is best to check ahead of time as food is not always available at all times.

Gelert’s Bar

Gelert’s Bar is famed for its fantastic food in Porthmadog and the bar is also dog friendly, so your canine companion can come for a relax too. The décor inside is stylish and comfortable and there is also a spacious beer garden to the back of the pub too- perfect for enjoying a drink in the summer.

The Station Inn

As the name suggests, the Station Inn is conveniently located right next to Porthmadog’s train station. In fact, it is literally on the platform and it is a real local, traditional pub. Cosy and welcoming, The Station Inn offers a good selection of drinks at very reasonable prices. The pub shows plenty of live sports and host theme evenings and live bands, so you may be in for a real treat when you visit.

The Union Inn

Dating back to the 19th Century, The Union Inn is a picturesque, family run pub offering locally brewed ale and home cooked food. Diners are also treated to a restaurant experience in the pub’s dining area and the beer garden offers visitors a relaxing and peaceful area to enjoy a drink in the warmer months.
